HOPI's decarbonization framework rests on three pillars: transport (fleet renewal, route optimization, Euro 6 compliance), warehouses (energy efficiency, LED conversions, photovoltaic installations), and offices (digitalization, waste reduction, energy management). With 2021 as the baseline year, HOPI tracks CO₂ intensity per tonne-kilometre and per square metre of warehouse space. Already in 2022, the Czech fleet reached 95 % Euro 6 compliance, and six warehouses in four locations achieved a 13.18 % reduction in CO₂ emissions through energy efficiency upgrades alone.
